Will be interested to read your thoughts.

@Runs Like A Gay I agree; it has plenty of problems. But for me the cast redeemed most - though certainly not all - of the weaker aspects.Alex Ramonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13563545792136227647noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2801886505610086313.post-33842238551088330872012-03-18T10:53:29.974-07:002012-03-18T10:53:29.974-07:00alex

At the time I thought is quite charming in an utterly forgettable way, today I got into a rant (with someone I don't even know) about how I found it trite and pandering.

I confess it did make me want to visit India, though.Runs Like A Gayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11170144191875296336noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2801886505610086313.post-78886559652023505172012-03-16T06:31:10.876-07:002012-03-16T06:31:10.876-07:00Yes, great cast! "The Worlds Fastest Indian" certainly was, even though about an old guy. I guess number one at the box office answers my question!Chrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09395044055566348346noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2801886505610086313.post-52053353680525027782012-03-14T05:14:03.437-07:002012-03-14T05:14:03.437-07:00@Andi Yes, despite the film's shortcomings, I&...@Andi Yes, despite the film's shortcomings, I'm glad it's doing well for that reason, too.

@John - Next time, Sir! ;-)Alex Ramonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13563545792136227647noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2801886505610086313.post-43584779309348596032012-03-13T14:12:53.188-07:002012-03-13T14:12:53.188-07:00sorry just a fleeting visit to london yesterday! b...sorry just a fleeting visit to london yesterday! back home early today!! not even a chance to go to the cinema!!!John Going Gentlyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14958171262765033946noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2801886505610086313.post-59379214664617555682012-03-12T06:45:24.626-07:002012-03-12T06:45:24.626-07:00Writing reviews is not something I'm any good ...Writing reviews is not something I'm any good at, so thank you for putting everything I thought about this film on your blog. I think the cast is what sells this film, but at the same time there is a bigger sense of 'oldies' getting it together and having excitment in their lives. We don't see much of that in films, especially not the whole cast, so I think it's been welcomed with open arms by an older generation. In this country at least, the senior generation tends to be put on a shelf. I think this film gives them a sense of empowerment. I'm glad it's at no.1 at the box office. xxAndi's English Attichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04136573194920355678noreply@blogger.com
