"Strangers When We Meet" by David Bowie

A track I get addicted to, periodically. And the only pop song I know that contains the word "rechauffe." Enjoy.

  1. Same here, Amigo. One of the highlights of Outside, even if it's completely different in tone from most of that gorgeously grim album. And it was reused for Buddha, wasn't it?

But I admit I have no idea what "rechauffe" means, even though I must have heard the song close hundreds of times...

  3. Yes indeed. "A dish of food that has been warmed again. Figuratively, something made up from old material; a rehash."

Suddenly I feel like I'm in Dictionary Corner on COUNTDOWN.
