Film, Theatre & Music Musings.
The Long Good Friday (1980) I mainly remember for the theme song and Hoskins in that final iconic scene in the car. Can see what you mean that the films are a time capsule to London of the past, in more ways than one. I'm curious to seek out Wonderland (1999) which you praise.
I think THE LONG GOOD FRIDAY is overrated but it does have its moments, and is very interesting in the way it captures an area of the city at a transitional time. Look forward to hearing your thoughts on WONDERLAND - it's one of my all-time favourites, and I think you'll like it.
