Film Review: Simon Killer (Campos, 2012)

It's pleasing that Antonio Campos's great Simon Killer, one of the strongest films screened at last year's London Film Festival, is getting a UK release this Friday. The movie made my Best Films of 2012 list and you can read my review of it here.

  1. I went to see this film in NYC tonight on your recommendation, Alex, and agree with you that it's very impressive and engrossing. I've loved Brady Corbet since Mysterious Skin (and found him both sexy and terrifying in Martha Marcy May Marlene), so I can't wait to see what he does next.

  2. Many thanks, Jason. I'm so glad you saw it and liked it. It really gets under the skin, doesn't it? And yes, Mr. Corbet is quite something. Bravo, Borderline Boys!
